Tough tough decisions are made every day when you have children.  Mine are 8 and 10.  We had an issue with a friend showing his privates, and my friends dad said to his son "Son, you don't have privates anymore, you have PUBLICS!"  He's better now.  :-)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Your story was well written and I'm glad you have the courage to 'parent your children'.  We have found with one of our children, the threat of removing privileges/toys is a great motivator.  With our other child it's opposite.  We need to use rewards as a motivator.  "If your behavior is great this week, you can have a friend over this weekend".&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My wife and I can't believe that they came out of the same gene pool!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Take a look at these two stories I wrote about my children if you get a moment.
